Since our first 10 week challenge in the spring of 2004, we have gained fitness, flexibility, energy, a more active lifestyle, healthy eating habits and met hundreds of people, some of whom are still working out with us today! It is great to have a place to workout no matter what the weather is like outside and where people actually know you by name.
Being an instructor provides great opportunities to connect and encourage people. It also causes me to hold myself to a higher standard. When that alarm goes off @ 4:30, sometimes it’s hard to get up and get going, but seeing the commitment and effort of those around me gets me going!
